One of the things we love most about quilting is that there is rarely just one right way to do something. We designed the Celestial Twilight Summer Block Party to be a fun, low-pressure event that encourages creativity. Our goal is to help you sew the summer away while making something uniquely yours. While we'll be sharing layouts and ideas along the way, we want to give you permission to experiment! Mix block sizes, change fabric placements, add borders, or create an entirely different arrangement. This quilt is your creative playground. If you don't work like that and need an idea on how many blocks to make, here are three suggested quilt layouts to get you started. Finished Size: All the following layouts become a 48" square. If you want to make it larger, borders and sashing are the perfect way. Add 1 ⅓ yards for Midnight (background) fabric for that. We will go into more details on this in week 5. Mystery Quilt #1 This layout uses the larger 16" blocks and creates a striking sampler-style quilt. Fabric Requirements for Mystery Quilt #1:

Mystery Quilt #2Love smaller blocks? This version focuses on the 8" blocks and creates a more detailed quilt with lots of movement. Fabric Requirements for Mystery Quilt #2:

Mystery Quilt #3Can't decide between large and small blocks? This layout combines both sizes for a dynamic and playful design. Fabric Requirements for Mystery Quilt #2:

Make It Your Own: These layouts are simply starting points. Feel free to make extra blocks, rearrange them, change the sizes, or combine elements from multiple layouts. The best part of a block party is seeing how differently everyone interprets the same patterns! We hope you'll have an amazing time quilting with us this summer. Be sure to share your progress, cheer on your fellow quilters, and enjoy the creative journey. Be sure to check back each week for tutorials and Summer Block Party updates! Happy sewing!
